My name is Martin Purcell and I am Interfaith  Minister. I was ordained in July 2021 with The One Spirit Interfaith Foundation. It was a very in depth course with 2 years of training with The One Spirit Interfaith Foundation. The training introduced me to many different religions and many different faith paths as well as training us as Spiritual Counsellors.  The two year preparation for ordination has taught me to look through a different lens. It has taught me to see people for who they are and not judge. It has taught me to listen and to hear what people want to say and to accept their views, most of all it has taught me to be a better person. Part of our training was to create ceremonies. Weddings, Vow renewals, baby naming, Rites of passage, Funerals and spiritual blessings. The other main focus on the training was Spiritual Counselling. This was a very important part of the course as it taught us how to hear someone who needs to be heard and to be someone who you can feel free and comfortable with, without judgement. 
I have been performing ceremonies for many years as a Celebrant and help create the ceremonies people require. It brings great joy and a sense of satisfaction to see couples/ families get the ceremony that they want.
Which has brought me here and to Halcyon Ceremonies where ceremonies are written for you and about you with a deep involvement by all parties so that your wishes are heard.
